1.       Yumthang Valley – Sikkim


Although, the Yumthang Valley is a grazing land, but must be visited on holidays. Surrounded by the Himalayan Mountain in the North Sikkim. It is rightfully called the “Valley of flowers.” Do you know that number of hot springs scattered in this valley providing an unexpected warmth of the water even in the bone-chilling temperature.

2.       Tea garden hill of Munnar


Munnar is a popular hill station in Kerala and it is well known for the green tea gardens which look so wonderful like waves coming from the hills. Munnar is a town (hill station) in the southwest of Kerala. Do you know that Munnar is called South Kashmir of Kerala. 3.       Stok Range, Ladakh


Stok Kangri is the highest mountain in the Stok range of the Himalayan situated in north-west India in Ladhak region. It is about 6135 meters that mean those who love trekking, this place is heaven to them.  The Stok Kangri is a massive, brooding mountain covered in snow.

4.       Nubra Valley, Ladakh


Nubra Valley is the tri-armed valley located in the north-east of Ladhak valley. This valley has its own beauty. People must visit to see the full glory of the burning colors like the clouds floating like candies in the blue sky. 5.       Dawki, Meghalaya


Dawki is a small border town in the Jaintia hills. Basically, it is famous for the Dawki river whose water is so clear that you can see it underwater from outside. This river adjoins the two nations, India and Bangladesh. The interesting thing is that there is no fence on the border instead some military guards patrolling it. Even you can see and handshake with people on the other side.

6.       Nanda Devi


Located in the Chamoli place in Uttarakhand and situated in the Gharwal mountain range. Nanda Devi is the 2nd largest peak in India and the 23rd highest mountain in the world. This place is a must visit once in the lifetime, especially the Nanda Devi Flower Valley National Park.

7.       Mizoram


Mizoram is the beautiful state in India with its capital city Aizwal. It is a land of rolling hills, valley lakes, and rivers. There are about 21 major hill ranges or peaks of different heights that runs through the length and breadth of the state. Also, you can see the plains scattered here and there.

8.       Lonar Sarovar, Maharashtra


Lonar lake is situated in the Bludhana District in Maharashtra, which is mysterious too. This lake is a National Geo Heritage Saline soda lake in Lonar, which was created by the meteor impact during the Pleistocene era. This is one of the beautiful must see places in India in terms of traveling.

9.       Matheran


It is a small hill station in Maharashtra near Pune and about 90 km from Mumbai. Basically, it is known for its mild climate and well-preserved majestic architecture. 10.   Athirapally, Kerala


Athirapally Falls is located in Thrissur district of Kerala at the Chalakudy River. This fall is 1000 feet above sea level. It is a magnificent waterfall and one of the popular tourist attractions in Kerala. Athirapally is the biggest waterfall which falls from the height of 80 ft. through several parallel streams.  This fall is also named as the  Niagara Falls of India. 11.   Key Monastery


Key Monastery is a Tibetian Buddhist Monastery located on the top of a hill at an altitude of 4166 meters above the sea level. It is close to the Spiti river in the Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. It is the biggest monastery here, which was reportedly started with 100 monks in 1855.

13.   Hoggenakal Falls


This fall is located in South India on the Kaveri river in Tamil Nadu in Dharmapuri district. Hoggenakal Falls is sometimes quoted as the Niagara Falls of India. The places get its name by joining two Kannada word which means smoking rocks wing to the unique rock arrangements which exist around it.

14.   Drang Drung Glacier, Near Kargil


The Drang Drung glacier is likely to be the largest glacier other than the Siachen glacier in the Karakoram Range. Its maximum length of 23 km at an average elevation of 4780m. This mountain glacier located near the Pensi La Mountain Jammu & Kashmir in Kargil district. It is one of the famous tourist destinations and takes about 2 days to get here from Srinagar.

15.   The Great Rann of Kutch



The Great Rann of Kutch is a breathtaking sight in Gujrat. It is a seasonal salt land and should be visited once in life. This white desert is the world’s largest salt desert spanning more than 620 miles. During Monsoon season it goes underwater. This place is also known for the most beautiful sunset view in the country.
