In today’s era, women are given equal rights and importance as men. Unfortunately, there are such countries in the world where women are still not safe and brutely behave by the community. Sadly, Our country INDIA is in the first position. The main problem of this that no proper law for women protection has been made by the government of the country.
"Women, who literally compare as Goddess by the people are badly injured by the same people." Why? If they really want that women of their country should be safe and secure than the government has to take a strict action against all wrong done by the women of the country. Let us proceed with the list of the countries which are ranked most dangerous in the world in one survey.
INDIA
It’s a shame that our India is at first under the world's most dangerous country for women and still the thing is going on. The violence against women is still running at a high rate. After the rape and murder case on a bus in Delhi sparked national anger and government promises to handle the issue.
India ranked as the most dangerous on the three main issues
1. Sexual violence and harassment
2. Cultural and traditional practices
3. Human trafficking (forced labor, sex slavery, and domestic servitude).
AFGANISTAN
Afganistan is in the second position where women face dire problems nearly 17 years after the defeat of the Taliban. It is ranked at 2nd on the basis of non-sexual violence, access to health care and economic resources.
SYRIA
Next comes Syria, which was the second most dangerous country before in terms of access to healthcare and non-sexual violence to women. After seven years of civil war, it comes on third and shared the 3rd position with United Staes on the issue of women face of sexual abuse.
SOMALIA
Being ranked at the 3rd position before and now positioned at 4th as the most dangerous country in the world for women in term of access to health care and risk of harmful cultural and traditional practices. Somalia is also named at 5th in terms of women having issues of economic resources.
SAUDI ARABIA
Although ranked fifth, it was named the second most dangerous country in the world in terms of women access to economic resources and also under discrimination in the workplace and property rights. This country ranked at 5th now in terms of the issues women face from the cultural and religious practices.
PAKISTAN
Amazingly, Pakistan is the 6th worst country in the world for women in 2018. Whereas, it is named as 4th in terms of economic resources, discrimination, and issues that women face from cultural and religious and traditional practices (which includes honour killings). In terms of sexual violence and domestic abuse, Pakistan ranked at fifth.
THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Having placed in the seventh because of the hellish living condition faced by the people over the years of the factional bloodshed and lawlessness. On the other hand, it ranked second most dangerous country in terms of sexual violence
YEMEN
Poorly ranking of the issues faced by health care, economic resources as well as risk from cultural and traditional practices and non-sexual violence women faced in Yemen. Being on Eighth, this country still reeling from the most urgent humanitarian disaster with about 22 million people in need of vital assistance.
NIGERIA
Nigeria falls at ninth position with issues of rape, killing civilians and torture during a nine-year fight against Boko Haran militant. Also, it was named as the fourth world’s most dangerous country along with Russia in access to human trafficking and 6th worst on the issues faced by the women in terms of traditional practices.
UNITED STATES
The United States is the only Western Country that joins the above 10 and also shares the third position with Syria for the issues faced by the women include sexual brutality, lewd behavior, assault, compulsion into sex and absence of equity in assault cases. All this came up after the #MeTooBattle became popular on the internet a year ago where a number of ladies using social media movement to share stories of lewd behavior and abuse.
All the above are the world most dangerous country for women traveling or live. Well, this was just a survey and if we make a change in us, we can make our country the best in the world. The first thing what is to be learned is “HUMANITY’, which looks lost in all of us. In today’s time, we are most probably named as deaf and dumb when the issues are related to the women. “When you change, everything will change and if you don’t change nothing will change.”
